How did you get started teaching?
In 2013, I started and ran a successful Summer Film School for youth ages 9-17, where I taught every step of the filmmaking process -- from screenwriting to editing the final project! I ran the school until 2016 (at which point we grew from an original 20 to 200 youth) when I decided it was time for a change. The school still exits in a physical location, but I have moved away from the area, and hope to continue teaching online as I continue to my career in film production.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
