For 42 award winning years I have been Artistic Director and teacher of THE SIMON STUDIO, a professional training, development and production center in NYC. Our On Camera Professional Lab combines actors, writers and directors in NYC. www.thesimonstudio.com. I have directed/acted in numerous films and for Yale Rep, NY Shakespeare Festival, London's Royal Court Theatre, Dublin's Abbey Theatre, etc. and with actors John Lithgow, James Earl Jones, James Woods, Samuel L. Jackson, Tovah Feldshuh, Bibi Anderson and for NYC and London premiers by playwrights Tenn. Williams, Shakespeare, John Guare, Terrence McNally, Michael Weller, William Saroyan, Lanford Wilson, etc. Elected to Notable Names in American Theatre and awarded numerous grants including National Endowment of Arts. Some of Mr. Simons famous alumni include John Lithgow, Samuel L. Jackson, John Travolta, James Earl Jones, Tovah Feldshuh and james Woods and Mr. Simon is deserving of every accolade ever received with the proof being in the naturalistic performances by his actors.
