The Fall Private Instructions will be taught at the '39th Avenue Arts N Events' Studio. I teach classes in Ballet (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced), Modern (Beginner/Intermediate), and Contemporary (Beginner/ Intermediate). Students with previous experience in a particular dance genre will be evaluated to determine their level and instruction will be adjusted accordingly. Private lessons are 60-90 minutes based off of students' level of focus and achievements during the fall.
Each student will learn the classical base and techniques of the dance form and also choreography in that genre to challenge their performance quality and artistry while striving towards high technical expectations in these dance genres.
I received my Certificate in dance from the Ailey School where I trained in modern, ballet, and contemporary dance. I have also studied with European contemporary choreographers at the Henny Jurriens School in Amsterdam. My teaching includes elements from both American and European dance, creating students who are versatile and prepared for the diversity of the dance world today.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each new student is evaluated to see where his/her level is in terms of technique and artistry. From there we discuss short and long term dance goals with the students such as the desire for a professional career and then adjust the private instruction to best suit each student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Rock School for Dance Education, where I received my classical ballet traininig, and then went on to received my Certificate in dance from the Ailey School where I trained in modern, ballet, and contemporary dance. I have also studied with European contemporary choreographers at the Henny Jurriens School in Amsterdam. My performance career includes dancing in classical ballets "The Nutcracker" and "Coppelia". I have performed modern/contemporary works by Jacqulyn Buglisi, Levi Marsman, and Alvin Ailey. I also choreograph my own works and have performed these in New York and Amsterdam.
