I recieved my Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Choreography at Dean College. Former president of Dean Colleges's Hip Hop Crew called Synergy, with responsibilities such as choreography and directing. Was apart of numerous dance compaines under a variety of artisits, and has performed many styles ranging from Modern,Hip Hop, African, and Jazz funk. During and after college was apart of an all female Hip Hop crew called Flomotion. With Flomotion, participated in a multi state Hip Hop performance, Beat Attikts, to raise money for multiple sclerosis, and had the opportunity to open for best selling-artist Ludacris, as well as MTV's Promposal. Had experience back up dancing and the musical theater side of dance as well. Being apart of shows such as RENT, In the Heights and American Idiot.
I love watching students grow and learn! whether they want to take their dancing career further or fitness journey to the next level. Or they just want to learn something new. I like being able to push people to their fullest potential!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process starts with evaluating my students with how comfortable/level they are at. Then go from their building on the basics, and working on going outside their comfot zone.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Dance and Choreography, with over 20 years of dance experience.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching more in college when I was in charge of a hip hop crew. As well as teaching theater students doing the choreography for musicals.
What types of students have you worked with?
Ive worked with beginners as young as six years old all the way through to professional dancers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Do what makes you feel comfortable. Also find a teacher that teaches something that sparks your interest. You will be more willing to retain more information if it is something you are excited to learn about.
