My name is Swarali. I am originally from Mumbai, India and relocated to New York 3 years ago.

- Performed solo with Riz Ahmed for Stephen Colbert show on CBS, solo with Oscar-winning music director A.R.Rahman for IIFA awards, finalist/choreographer of Asia's Biggest Dance Reality show Dance India Dance, Winner of International Indian Icon a global dance competition, choreographer for Bollywood movies, world tours, commercial music videos and Broadway musicals

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1) The student and I will exchange contact information.
2) We will briefly discuss the needs/preferences of the student.
3) I will then provide a package with price and location and the student can pick whichever option is most convenient to them.
4) Students can make payments with venmo, cash or check.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Masters Degree in Dance Movement Psychotherapy
- Certified Dance Fitness Instructor
- Trained in yoga, kinesiology, aerobics, and anatomy
- Training in various dance form since the age of 6 and working professionally since the age of 12. ie. Almost 20 years of dance training and 13 years of teaching experience

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching as part of Shiamak Davars School of the Performing Arts, which is a Global Jazz Dance School with classes in almost 12 different countries. I went on to do private tuitions, teaching at schools, colleges, hospitals, and working as a professional choreographer for TV, movies, and Broadway musical.
