I have degrees in composition and music theory as well as undergraduate degrees in economics and philosophy. Also, I really emphasize sound. I think it's so important whether you're learning the violin at 6 or 60. Sound is so magical; it surrounds and stimulates us. You can feel the violin vibrate when you play it!
