Bujinkan Maten Ninjutsu Dojo is a boutique training hall devoted to classical ninja and samurai martial arts training of Japan. Sensei Oliver Martin lived and training with Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi in Tokyo Japan for 3.3 years and has been training in Bujinkan Budo martial arts for over twenty years. He is a licensed instructor and continues to train and facilitate his students training in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu in New York City. Sensei Martin is the featured instructor on the ninjutsu 101 & kenjutsu Howcast.com video series at Howcast.com. He was selected to perform in the Kikoman Enbu martial arts demonstration in 2004 in Noda-shi Japan.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are encouraged by Sensei Martin and experienced students to train at there own unique level weather the student is an experienced martial arts mover or if they have no experience whatsoever. Students always find there own unique pace with in the Maten Dojo training curriculum.

$20 per class
$120 per month (access to all classes)
$140 for 8 classes (good for two months)
How did you get started teaching?
Oliver started training in martial arts when his father introduced him to Yoshin Ryu jujutsu and various form of aikido training at a local martial arts dojo.
What types of students have you worked with?
Oliver has worked with experienced martial artists and experienced athletes, as well as inexperienced students with weak fitness and health issues. Please request to speak with Sensei if you have any special needs for you training.
