The language of tango dance requires the development of several aspects to this well-danced:
Be sensitivity through the music.
Understanding embrace in form and functionality to connect with the other person.
Understanding the roles, timing of lead and follow.
The technique.
Knowledge of the structure- possible steps to take- and give all the basic elements that exist such as sacadas, boleos, barridas, ganchos, colgadas and some variables rather than longer be a higher level, only for those who really want to reach advanced level of possibilities.
Further develop all these items must help achieve a level of fluid and pleasurable, sincere and spontaneous dancing.
Daily practice is important.
My classes have a particular focus on individual technique, structure and basic possibilities to go to true improvisation.
Which leads naturally to a deep connection with the other person for the dance is functional.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The processes that I usually do with different students are focused on the development of the technique, the structure, the cadence of the steps and the synchronization of sequences, the embrace, which is so special in this dance, the understanding of music. This process takes between 6 and 8 classes to assimilate minimally what you have learned.

How did you get started teaching?
I started from a very young age to investigate pedagogy, promoted by my great teachers of different dances in Argentina.
When I started dancing tango, I already had experience as a dance teacher. There was a high demand and many fewer people dedicated to this activity. For the tango community to grow at that time it was necessary to empower more people who could spread the basic concepts of Tango.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
In this very special year, where the Pandemic prevented the face-to-face meeting, it was very interesting to find this new way of keeping the Tango dance alive, with enthusiasm, through festivals, workshops and regular zoom classes.
It was much more efficient than I imagined it could be.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would advise that you connect and believe in the teachings that the teacher has to give, the more that teacher can focus on the foundations of this dance, the better it is. And true dedication and passion for what one does can be distinguished. Enjoy learning this wonderful dance that is Tango!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
At an organizational level, knowing what they need to be able to take the class, the space, the right shoes, being as a couple or if they just want individual technique.
Questions about the topics that need to be learned will arise spontaneously as the classes go on.
