Hello and welcome, my name is Perfecta Ekpo, a Theatre graduate from the University of Calabar, Nigeria, a choreography major. Dance is the rythmic movement of thMy through time and space. My teachings are focused on the strength of my students, every experience is personalized to suit the goals and aspirations of my students, I am passionate about dance, and will also apply the basic techniques of any dance genre to achieve the desired goals. My strongest areas are Afrobeat, hip-hop, pure dance, Caribbean and Latin dance firm. I love meeting with new and aspiring dancers and helping them have their voices heard through dance creation.

I have over 18 years of professional experience, through international tours, local festivals, weddings and graduation , community events and all other ceremonies. I have taught dance in several New York city public schools as a teaching artist.
