About
We are Formerly St.Benedict School of Dance and have been in the South Jamaica community for over 50 years. For decades we have served the community bringing the Art of dance, song, drama and theater. We have never had a dance recital out shows encompass all of the Arts and feature talented children in our community. Therefore, the decision was made to change our name to clearly identify what we specialize in and the Dance Theater Arts Guild was born.
We are a performing arts school bringing culture and the Arts specializing in the discipline of dance and the experience of the theatre. We inspire children parents and adults to strive to do and be their best in any endeavor.
With undying love, our group of talented professionals from all walks of life teach persons of all ages about the gift of Life how to respect their bodies, others and themselves ensuring they know that with a strong faith in God if you Dream it and Believenit you can Achieve it!
Stand up tall you don't have to be a model to look like one. Dance with your heart and soul from the tip of your fingers to the tip of your toes!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students are immediately treated as family. There is an introductory session with the parent and the student so that they understand what the guild is all about, what we offer and what we expect from our students and parents.
