About
I have a passion for teaching children how to excel in swimming and/or gymnastics. I am reliable and have flexible summer hours! I have been teaching swimming for 9 years in the town pool, school, and private settings. I have been teaching gymnastics for 7 years in a variety of programs. I am a NYS certified Health and Physical Education Teacher. I am a Nassau County certified lifeguard who is also certified in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
I enjoy when my students make progress due to my teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process for working with a new student is to find out their goals and assess their current skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The education and training that I have that relates to my work is NYS certification in Health and Physical Education, a Bachelors Degree in Health and Physical Education, a Masters degree in Sport Management, Nassau County lifeguard certification, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification.

I charge $30 per half hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I became a lifeguard and started teaching private swim lessons at 16 years old, which inspired me to go to college for Health and Physical Education.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages, including students with special needs.
