By my 22 years as leading artist with The metropolitan Opera Co.I understand what is needed for a singer to qualify for a career or simply improve their abilities as a recreational performer, i.e. in a chorus or ensemble. i also have extencive experience in musical theater and have several students in traveling shows as well as Broadway Theater.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
having the student audition for me with what ever they feel comfortable with. Then quetioning their purpose for studying voice and giving them a realistic evaluation about their choices.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had a 40 year career singing , 22 of those years as a leading performer with the Metropolitan opera Co . in New york as well as many other opera company's in the U.S. as well as musical theater. I can be seen on Youtube singing Jerome Kern as well as opera from Europe and the Met.

Auditions and evaluation are $100 > I f the student wishes to study my fee is reduced.
How did you get started teaching?
I have taught Master Classes around the world for the many years i have ben performing and after retiring from singing I have continued to to so and teach privately as well.
What types of students have you worked with?
Many opera singers as well as musical theater performers, highschool students preparing for music schools or universities as vocal majors.I do not except students younger than 15.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Always the opera and broadway Theater as well as hearing my own students perform.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Finding a private teacher is a personal thing. There must be a certain chemistry and trust involved on both sides.

What they wish to acconplish as professionals as well as good ametures .
