Martin has worked in the Westchester, NY area for over 9 years. He has helped countless players develop their tennis game. Martin's special energy and enthusiasm on the court make players love the sport and enjoy the learning process.
Martin is currently the Tennis Director at Tarry Crest Swim and Tennis in Tarry Town, NY. Tarry Crest runs a tennis program for over 350 families for all ages and levels. Martin is an Elite USPTA and ITF Tennis Professional.
Martin Miedzowicz's and his staff has the necessary and unique passion to help players meet their tennis goals while having a great time on the court.
Martin and his staff truly enjoy teaching others the tennis ganem and are very thanksfull to pass on the knowledge learned as tennis players to their students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It is important to first recognize what are the student's short, mid, and long term tennis goals. Once both the student and the teacher are in the same page, both can start working together towards them. Lessons' drills and activities should go from easier to more difficult challenging the student's skills. Students should learn the fundamentals first to then work on more complex shots and plays.
How did you get started teaching?
Martin started teaching part time to cover his tennis expenses as a player. After a few months he realized that teaching tennis was his passion and he started to do it full time. Martin has been teaching tennis for over 10 years and his passion added with experience and knowledge has been the key of his sucess.
What types of students have you worked with?
Martin has worked with a wide variety of tennis ages and levels. He has run a Home School program training player that were top ranked in the nation.
Currently, Martin runs adult and junior teams and programs. Over 150 families enjoy Martin's tennis program.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To get references from other students and try a few different instructors before commiting to one. Students will notice the difference between diffrent instrcutors.
