I have worked with US open as a certified coach. I have coached different age groups at US open over 3 years. Also I have worked with college tennis coach as an assistant and helped our team win a division title. Along several years of teaching and playing tennis I have learned, a player plays their best tennis when they play how their body wants to play. We play our best tennis when we are relaxed and make our mind judge our body minimal. Over the years I have produced great results with players and look forward to make more people enjoy the lovely sport tennis.

I'm the kind of coach that's not afraid of change. Tennis is always evolving and I understand that one way of teaching doesn't suit to every player. As a coach, I need to be able to change with the game to give my players the best opportunity to accomplish their tennis goals.
I listen to my players concerns or excitement about their tennis games, tournaments, and development.
I motivate my players to train hard, make changes and to never give up.
Above all, I care about my players.

I love to play and have played at every level but here is something very special in the idea of paying this passion of mine forward aNd planting the seed of love for tennis in others players out there. The experience is important but if you don't do this with passion the results may not show. I take this opportunity as a privilege not as an obligation.

Hi Guys,
I have been playing tennis for almost 10 years now. I have participated in several national tennis tournaments back in India and also frequently participate in NYC tournaments as well. I have a relaxed encouraging teaching style focused on building on your strengths and eliminating any weaknesses. I believe in helping my students develop an all round game that will make your opponents stare at you with awe.
My name is Anthony Ziad Assal and I am a tennis coach based out of New York City. I would say that my inspiration for coaching came from my own coach Ronald, who spent a lot of time and energy to help me achieve an ATP ranking in high school and apply myself on an off the tennis court to become a scholar athlete. The amount of enthusiasm he had rubbed off on me and I felt that it was something I should pass forward to others.
What do you love most about your job?
What I love most about coaching is seeing how the player starts to expand their potential and increase their enjoyment of the sport before realizing that their training is paying off. It is a joy to see someone improve at the end of the day, week, month or however long it takes to reach their goals.
What types of students have you worked with?
During my time coaching I have worked with all levels of students. My first real effort in helping people with their tennis came simultaneously from a young girl who was starting for the first time as well as preparing a buddy to break into his Division 1 team. Nowadays I work with college players at Cooper Union where I graduated in 2014, pee wees and adults.
Teaching has been a real enjoyment for me. At the heart of it, the motto "Those who can, do. Those who can't teach" is something that I have found to be inaccurate at what it takes to be an instructor. I can't just a beginner how to hit a forehand because I myself can, it is because I have an understanding of the physics and mechanics behind it is and how to present it in an understandable way, and be willing to make myself to play lefty for a month in order to remember how it feels to just start out.
What advice would you give aspiring students?
My advice to aspiring students would be to understand that practice doesn't make perfect strokes, it makes permanent habits. With that in mind, always remember your goals and enjoy taking small steps to ensure that you are developing good habits on the court to have fun not only today but tomorrow as well.
