I teach anyone; from children and adult beginners to professionals preparing for auditions, anyone dealing with repetitive use injuries, older people who always wanted to do this but thought it would take more time than they had, and especially everyone who thinks it's too hard or takes too much time or, even worse, think it will be more work than fun. I've been teaching violin, viola, and chamber music in the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division for over 20 years. I have performed in more than 200 U.S. cities, as well as in Canada, Korea, Austria, France, and Russia, so I know what it takes to be a performer.

I teach all ages and all level. Currently, I am an orchestra teacher at Lawrence Elementary. I teach 4th-6th grade orchestra. I also prepare students for NYSSMA and all county.

Hi! My lessons are friendly, focused, and tailored to each student. I care about building a strong foundation, but I also want students to enjoy the process and feel encouraged every week. We will work on posture, sound, technique, rhythm, reading, and musical expression in a clear and practical way. Whether you are just starting violin, returning after a break, or preparing for auditions, I will help you move forward step by step with patience and honest guidance.

A native of Taiwan, I received my Bachelor of Music degree and Master's degree from Mannes School of Music. I began my musical training on violin and piano at 5.  As a performing artist, I have given solo, ensemble, and orchestral performances at various events and concerts in the U.S. and Taiwan. Her most recent collaboration within New York City has brought her to venues such as Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall. Ms. Isadora has had more than five years of teaching experience. She has a strong passion for teaching and enjoys sharing her stories and love of music with students of all ages and levels.
