I am a master instructor of the Korean art of Hwa Rang Do, and have been teaching adults, seniors, children (6 and up) and teens for 40 years.
HWA RANG DO is so much more than the “typical martial art”. On one level it combines health and physical fitness with practical, effective self-defense techniques.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
we talk for awhile, so i can understand who they are as well as assess thier particular needs and how it relates to our martial art.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Master Instructor of Hwa Rang Do, a direct student of Grandmaster Ki Nam Yum.
I have also ahd the pelasure of training with legendary people such as: Moses Powell, Eugene Fields, Tom Muncy & Rick Moneymaker, to name just a few...
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
For private lessons, I charge by the hour with a two hour minimum. The fee will also inlcude travel and gym rental if necessary.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching when I was in college.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with adults, teenagers, yong children (6 years old and up), people with various handicaps and chllanges, and senior citizens
