I have been a swimming instructor for 25 years and I have a deep passion for teaching people how to swim. I am a very patient swimming instructor and I teach terrified and beginning level students. I also help beginning level students overcome their fears of learning how to swim since I always make my swimming lessons fun and enjoyable.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I assess the needs of a beginning level swimming student and I always make a beginning swimmer become comfortable in the water while the student is learning to swim.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a WSI (water safety instructor) certified swimming instructor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rates for swimming lessons are flexible and I have an hourly rate per lesson or a flat rate for several swimming lessons.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching swimming when I was a student in college and I have been a swimming instructor ever since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginning level swimming students and I also have worked with swimmers who are terrified and fearful swimmers who are afraid of water.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was able to teach a beginning level student who is 44 years old last summer and this student never thought she could learn how to swim. This woman had never taken lessons before and she was thrilled to know that she was able to learn how to swim after taking lessons with me.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Beginning level students should always look for a swimming instructor who is patient and understanding of their fears and demands when it comes to learning how to swim.
