Hello!! My name is Marissa, and I have been a musician for the last 17 years of my life, starting off with playing piano at the age of 8! I studied at Cleveland State for my BA in music and was able to study voice (opera, musical theatre, pop/rock), as well as continuing my training on the keys! I prefer playing romantic era music (Tchaikovsky, Debussy, etc), as well as playing jazz standards and pop standards. I am very passionate about all aspects of music, including theory + history. I’ve had students make it through the audition process and appear on the Voice and American idol. I am trained in classical technique. I’m a rock and jazz singer by trade. I treat ever student as an individual and plan each lesson based on your skill and level of ability.
