I am a fun and passionate individual looking to share my love and knowledge of cooking and baking! I have been a pastry chef for over 6 years now and have been decorating cakes for 10+. I graduated with an bachelors degree at Sullivan university where I studied baking and pastry science and hospitality management. For the past 5 years I have worked as a pastry chef for Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment and traveled with them opening up steakhouses. My true passion has always been teaching and I would love the chance to learn and bake with you 😊

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first step is always to judge where you are now and where you would like to go. Every student will have a different goal/objective and a different set of skills
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated Sullivan University with a degree in Pastry Arts and Hospitality Management.
I have worked in the hospitality field at bakeries, culinary school, and fine dinning restaurants for over 13 years.
I am also level two ServSafe certified in food cleanliness and safety.

I charge per lesson, so you can have as many people as you'd like.
1 hour class- $75
2 hour class- $120
How did you get started teaching?
I began as a Teachers assistant at Sullivan University in there baking and bread making classes.
since then I have taught classes online and for friends and family. I have also trained most of the pastry chefs at the Steakhouse I previously worked fo.
What types of students have you worked with?
All kinds! Beginners are my favorite, but intermediate students are welcome as well to step up there pastry knowledge!
