Kandra F. says, "Mrs. Massie (Ms. Rosalee) was the best instructor we could have asked for our son. She was patient, kind and so knowledgeable about all things piano. Our son has mild autism but that didn’t hinder Ms. Rosalee’s instruction, she taught in stride. I highly recommend!" Read more

I am a USAF Veteran, Former Paralegal and Berklee College of Music Graduate. I encourage each student to choose a peice of music that is just for fun. I choose the others to teach specific skills. Then I use the chosen peice to get you playing right away. This is also a great way to begin to learn to read and recognize music notation. My teaching style is relaxed and contemporary. I believe that learning music should ALWAYS be fun. No matter what skill level you are at. "Music is not work, music is play". - Joss Stone I do not use the word "practice" when asking a student to begin learning a new song or continue to a new part of a song. ...

Nelly S.
Rosalee Massie is a very realible teacher. Very professional and knowledgeable. My daughter is 4 years old and we just finished our first season of preschool piano classes. My daughter is a very high energy kid that could not sit still and I myself was in doubt that she could handle the class, even it is was a playbased piano class. I am happy to say that she actually finished successfully and enjoy the class a lot. That class help my daughter in so many ways! She learn about piano keys, learn new songs and games but I think the benefits of those clases day by day goes further on a 4 year old mind that I could possible imagine. Thanks Rosalee, can't wait to start fall season 2020.
