My approach to teaching is to tailor it to each students needs and learning styles. I do not offer cookie cutter lesson paths. These we be lesson from a professional bass player and educator. Not a guitarist masquerading as one. It is my goal to get you to play the bass but more importantly to enable you to create your own bass lines.

Private piano lessons are offered to students of all ages. These lessons are tailored to each student’s age and level of experience. All students will be taught the principles of musicianship, music theory, ear training, music history, and performance skills.
I graduated from Ohio State University with a Piano Performance Degree, then moved to New York City and lived there for 10 years--teaching at two schools and studying with Edith Oppens. I returned to Columbus to pursue my Master's Degree with Earl Wild while he was a Guest-Artist-In-Residence at OSU. I teach a full-time schedule of about 90 weekly students--age Pre-K to adult--at my Upper Arlington studio. In the summer, I also teach at the Otterbein University Summer Music Experience, an immersive camp for high school musicians.

Lessons are held Monday-Friday 3pm-9pm and Saturday 9am-3pm. Openings are based on teacher availability.
