Grandmaster Darrell Sarjeant is a certified 9th Degree red belt and one of the leading martial arts masters in the United States today! He has been inducted in several martial arts hall of fames and regularly travels to teach seminars across the country.
With over 40 years experience, this former law enforcement officer and Executive protection specialist is prepared to share his practical and effective systems of Kenpo Ju Jutsu and Kali Silat.
Grandmaster Sarjeant is the inheritor of Deibisu Ryu Ju Jutsu and Kancho (Head Instructor ) of the Go Sei Do Kenpo systems. He is the chief instructor of the Silent Warrior Arts Filipino Indonesia Martial Arts System.

Ive been teaching well over 25 years. I regularly teach seminars throughout the United States.
Over these past forty years I’ve accomplished the highest rank possible in three martial arts disciplines: Jujutsu, Filipino knife and stick fighting, and Kenpo Jutsu.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
All new students are introduced to our art through a interview to establish their goals and needs. New students are instructed in the basic strikes, blocks, footwork, etc before matriculation into more advanced aspects of our arts.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
9th Degree Red Belt inheritor of Deibisu Ryu Ju Jutsu
8th Degree Black Belt in the arts of: Go Sei Do Kenpo, Goju Ryu Karate Do, and Blank Dragon Aiki Jitsu.

How did you get started teaching?
I began by assisting my teachers for many years in class. I eventually opened my own dojo in NY. Upon moving here to Oklahoma, I continued teaching and upon the death of my teacher, I was installed as the Grandmaster and Inheritor to our martial arts system.

We teach youth from 7 years of age through adulthood.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be a good consumer and watch a few classes before joining any dojo.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Have their goals in mind and that helps the teacher to understands your needs.
