About
Vocal Academy of Oklahoma strives to offer high quality performance and education in the art of vocal music. Young or old this school customizes the vocal education of the student that not only engages the student with preferred styles but also encourages growth in all styles of vocal singing to maximize enjoyment and marketability.
Basic piano skills are also available.
The Instructor has been in public school music education for 7 years teaching elementary, middle and high school students. Additionally, the instructor has performed in barbershop groups, Tulsa Opera, Tulsa Signature symphony.
Currently the instructor directs a community choir that traveled and sang Mozart's Requiem in D minor at Carnegie Hall in New York. The group is called Vox Aeterna and is open to students and adults 8th grade and higher. Students of the Vocal Academy of Oklahoma will have opportunities to sing and travel with this group.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typical process is an initial assessment to identify a students likes and dislikes, learning styles, and goals. After the startup assessment a graduated skill set will be created with music and lessons that suppliment the learning goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors in Vocal Education and 20 years of experience working with community, school and church choirs. I have participated singing in Tulsa Signature singing choral, Tulsa Opera, and Cavanal Chorale.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard pricing is $200.00 a month for weekly hour long lessons. $150.00 a month for weekly 30 minute lessons.
