About
I am passionate about helping students to fully understand the basics and fundamentals of ballet training. I seek to impart confidence and self-trust to my students so that they can go in the direction of their dreams without doubts. I specialize in body-positive messaging in ballet and seek to change the way our children see themselves so that the world can be a warmer and friendlier place to people of all shapes. I beleive that art belongs to all of humanity, not a select few, and I seek to impart that philosophy to the students I am lucky enough to teach.
As a clown teacher, I seek to help students let go to the spontaneity and immediacy of improv. In my class, students will be challenged to let go and have fun, while also keeping an eye on lessons learned from failures. Students will be coached through the uncomfortable moments which are necessary for growth and come to trust themselves and their commedic instincts.

Performance is the way that artists process the world. I love that I have a passion and gift for connecting with an audience and that this is how I am able to make sense of and share my vision for a better world with my community.
In teaching, I love empowering students to continue their art training, through the thick and thin of life. I love being a part of the learning experience, giving them the wherewithall to know that hard work will in art set them up for being able to take on and have great stamina for many of life's challenges.
