Naomi Spektor Ballroom And Latin

Summary

Nikita Grygorchuk and Naomi Spektor are a top USA Youth and U21 ballroom dance couple. They started dancing together in January of 2019 and became United States National Champions in Youth Latin and Vice-Champions in U21 Latin just six weeks later. Nikita and Naomi won most major North American competitions in the Youth Latin American division last year. Based on these outstanding results, they were selected to represent USA in the Youth World Team Match at the 2019 WDC AL World Championship in Dublin, Ireland. At the 2019 WDC AL World Championship, Nikita and Naomi reached the final in the Youth Latin and placed fifth. They were the highest placed USA couple among Youth and U21 American couples. A week later they traveled to Naples, Italy for the WDO World Championship where they became World Champions in the Youth U19 Division.

In their previous partnerships, Nikita is the 2018 Embassy Ball Youth Latin Champion, 2018 Ohio Star Ball Youth Latin Champion, 2018 Dutch Open Championship silver medalist in Youth Latin, and 2018 WDC AL bronze medalist in Youth Latin.

With her previous partner, Naomi is 4x United States National Champion. She represented USA in multiple World Championships across the World. She won all major USA competitions in Junior and Youth Divisions between 2014 and 2018 and was 2017 World Youth 10 Dances Bronze medalist in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Teaching:

Currently, Nikita and Naomi teach at the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in North Scottsdale where they look after children as young as three years old. They help develop skills in children that allow them to communicate and learn how to dance to the music and in a couple format. They help children find a passion for dance and outlet for youngsters to express themselves. Besides preparing them for competitions, Naomi also travels to daycare facilities and provides dance lessons. Besides Ballroom, last year Naomi began to teach regular Zumba, stretching, and fitness conditioning classes to children as well as adults. Naomi also travels to nearby apartment complexes where she offers salsa private and group lessons.
