I Do What I Can

I Do What I Can

5.0(1 review)

Progress is the only real goal when teaching. I care to make sure your understanding is solid, even if your knowledge becomes more than your ability.

I only teach what I know. In that way, I can give the guarantee that what I show you/teach you will work because I myself have done it.

Frequently asked questions

Getting to know personality and what if  any uncomforts and fears to give me a good idea of where I stand with guiding the client and what walls I'm going to run into. And then, of course, getting the waiver and contact info to cover insurance matters.

I, myself, still train though no longer an active competitor. My experience to date is 17 years of hands on coaching and teaching. For gymnastics, I've attended clinics in multiple gyms so as not to be close minded about methods and  tactics. I've also been to region 7 congress and learned from the higher ups methods they've used to coach world champions. For martial arts, I've traded knowledge and experienced techniques first hand from teachers whose reputations speak for themselves.

For everything I offer, my prices are based off of what your goal is, what you need access to, long-term or short-term, and how many people it includes. I don't break pockets. I do this for passion not so much payment. But I do have access to an indoor facility with mats, some weights, and gymnastics apparatus.

My second year as a gymnast, I became assistant coach for my own team as I had a knack for improvising and developing drills for progress. When I graduated from the program I coached my former team for five years. As a martial artist, I waited much longer before I began teaching and even then I do not do it often.

For gymnastics, i've coached ages 5 to adult and both male and female. I've only ever taught mature minded adults amd young adults when it comes to martial arts.

I recently began teaching my own daughter and as the care of what she learns is personal and not managed by time or convenience I have taken a second look at my own understanding of what foundations and basics truly are. It has truly refined what and how I teach.

Be honest. It makes things a lot easier for both parties.

What they want, where they want it to take them, and if they are truly willing to commit to a regiment that will take away their free time.
