I have been playing since I was 26 years old. I did my training with the PTR organization after a few years of playing. At that time I was tested and achieved the rank of an instructor. I ran an outdoor hard court club for five seasons. I ran tennis parties and clinics for all levels. After a few years I retested and was upgraded to professional which is my current status.I have been on a men's USTA team for several years in the past as well.I love to see people who recognize the value of learning this sport. There is the physical aspect that keeps you young and healthy. There is the sportsmanship that is strengthened thru this sport. There is the competitive aspect, too, of course. It's very gratifying to see the smiles on the faces of players at all levels when they see their own improvement. I've mastered some of the specialty shots, such as the topspin lob (offensive), the ordinary log (defensive), the drop shot and a variety of serves. I play both singles and doubles. I generally play daily.
