I like to make my lessons personable. I like to gind out what type of music my students like, how quickly they learn, and what training they have. I want to make lessons enjoyable so i cater lessons to the individual/group.
I absolutley love dance. I wouldn't be the person I am today without dance. I love being able to share my love of dance with others. For me, dance has always been my place to escape. I want to share that with others and give people that same love of dance.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know my students, see what they are looking for. I'll see what type of dance, what kind of music, what type of atmosphere they are looking for. I will make a lesson based on their preferances so it is more enjoyable and personal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been dancing since I was 3 years old. I have trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, musical theatre, modern, and hip hop. I have a BA in Dance specializing in Choreography and Performance. I have traveled to Disney and performed in the parks 4 times. I have also traveled to Disney to compete in the UDA college dance team nationals with my dance team in college. I am a certified teacher. I have been teaching since I was 16. I was co captain of my college dance team my senior year. I also trained in LA back in 2013 at a hip hop summer dance intensive.
How did you get started teaching?
I started and a student demonstrator when I was in 8th grade. After a few years I went to a 3 year teaching program during the summer. I moved up to assistand teacher and then finally a full teach by the time I graduated high school.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with ages 3-21. I have worked with students with little experiance, all the way to the college competative circuit.
