I like seeing people feel good about themselves, because they mastered something they didn't know was possible. When you control your body and your emotions it's empowering. I enjoy seeing that growth in students of all ages.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to meet the student to get a feeling for what they're looking for. Then take a class! Dive in. Afterward we talk. We continue trying various classes (if needed) until everyone is comfortable that the student is in the ideal placement (teacher, parent, student).
