Timothy McNair, Bass, is the former Eckstein Scholar of Music at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music where he held the most coveted merit full tuition scholarship. Timothy obtained his M.Mus in Voice Performance and Opera Literature at Northwestern University Bienen School of Music in 2014. Before that, Timothy McNair completed his B. Mus in Voice Performance at the Loyola University of New Orleans College of Music in 2011 Omicron Delta Kappa. Timothy has been hailed as substantially gifted bass artist with contracts held with New Orleans Opera Company, North Carolina Opera, North Carolina Baroque, and music prizes from the National Association of Teachers for Singing, Heafer Williams Vocal Competition, and Girton College University of Cambridge. Timothy has been accepted into the following universities/conservatories over the past 10 years: UNC Chapel Hill (Kenan music scholarship consideration), UNCSA (Fletcher full tuition scholarship awarded), University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music (largest undergraduate scholarship offered), Loyola University of New Orleans College of Music (largest undergraduate scholarship accepted), Northwestern University Bienen School of Music (Eckstein merit scholarship awarded). Timothy was offered faculty position at Duke University in 2016 at the age of 28 after recent graduation from Northwestern.
