We start with the foundation of connection to your partner, moving together with clear signals, and learning to stay on time with the music.

How did you get started teaching?
I had a need to build my confidence, and even though I practiced martial arts, that wasn't a good thing to demonstrate at a party. Becoming a dance teacher opened up a whole new world for me.Learning a life skill like dancing can give anyone a new outlook on life, making new friends, connecting with the arts and entertainment community, and just having fun at a party.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have had beginners and experienced dancers come through my door, and I believe that all of them have left with a little more than they came with.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently went to a party at a friends house and got to dance with a lady who had been involved with dance all her life. It was a pleasure to move around the floor with her.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the teacher is available for the times you want lessons. Ask if you will have to share the room with other students and teachers.
