About
I grew up in Vladivostok, Russia. I started my dance training at the age 13 and it became my biggest passion. For me dance is an art, a life style and a life-changing experience. Dance gave me opportunities to work and gain unforgettable experiences in different countries such as Russia, South Korea, Spain,Israel, Mexico, Cuba and United States.
I have always had a desire to share my knowledge with people and teach them this beautiful art that gives so much to ones who practice it. I've been teaching in different studios in Austin, TX area for 6 years. My area of expertise includes Contemporary, Modern, Ballet (beginner/intermediate), Jazz, Barre Pilates, Choreography, Dance Improvisation and Strength and Conditioning. I've taught students from 3 years old to 70 years old, from total beginners to advanced dancers. It's important to me that my students achieve their goals in dance and get the most out of their practice.
Some of my professional certifications include Vertigo International Dance Training Program (Jerusalem, Israel), Burn At The Barre (Austin,TX).

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I schedule a call with a new student to find out about the dance style they are intersted in, skills they would like to acquire, short term and long term goals. All these question willl help me to understand how to plan my classes to make them most productive for the student.
Each class includes a warm up, some stretching and strengthening exercises. The rest of the time is dedicated to a certain dance style, choreography or dance skills a student is interested in.
