How did you get started teaching?
Grew up in Florida not knowing how to swim. Learned the hard way. Saw a need with people I knew.
Realized an extreme need for Special Needs Instruction so enjoy that level.
Had a good time getting them into the water and played around with different games (skills) and they got the hang of the skills (learnning to swim).
I also work with the latest Olympians, so I am up on the current trends leading into the Games in Tokyo this Summer 2020!
What types of students have you worked with?
Infants-Adults, Non-swimmers-Olympic Gold Medalists, Recovering Drowning Victims, Parents of all of the above, Aquatic Physical Therapist, Foster Parents, Scouts of America, COA Aquatics, YMCA Aquatics, Military cadets and more.
