About
I have always had a love for sports. I was an athlete in high school and always kept active. After graduation I worked a corporate job for a while but I felt tired all the time. I knew I had to change my life and add more physical activity into it. I knew that way I can be more energized and feel like my old self again. I also want to help other women like me to feel energized and powerful through physical activity.
I didn't just want to become a personal trainer, but a well educated one so I went back to school to study for my Bachelor's in Exercise Science and now I work as a trainer specializing in women's strength training and weight loss.
I also coach soccer and gymnastics for kids as a result of my own background in sports.
I love working with people and seeing the amazing results clients get throughout the fitness journey.
Also, I love working with kids and teaching them new skills so they can become better athletes.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First, I offer you a complimentary coaching call or consultation in person. I want to get to know you a little bit and talk about your fitness goals and possible limitations for exercise. That way I can give the best recommendation and build the program the best way possible.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm originally from Finland, where I worked as a trainer for the city of Helsinki. In Austin I have trained at LA Fitness, YMCA and F45 in Austin. Currently I train at Evolve Personal Fitness as an independent trainer. I have the following certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.
- Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT).
- Certified Zumba instructor
- Certified Skiing Instructor
- Certified Swimming Instructor
- Certified Multi Sport Coach.
- CPR & First Aid
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Session price depends on the length of the session and whether it is in-person or online. I have my own home studio for online training, and I train in-person clients at a private personal training gym (Evolve Personal Fitness) or outside in parks etc.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to pursue my passion for sports and work with people so I made my career switch from financial industry into sports and fitness in 2015. I absolutely love what I do right now so it was the right choice for me.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have personal trainer clients from various backgrounds (inactive to active, ages 15-76, different physical limitations like arthritis etc.). Each individual has different goals and I plan their workout program accordingly utilizing my knowledge gained through education and experience from my athletic career.
I have also coached 6-7 years old girls' soccer team during my studies and 3-6 years old kids' gymnastics.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I played soccer in High School World Championships a while back. It was a great experience which I will never forget.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are ready to put the work in, with the help of a trainer you will succeed! Choose the trainer who you feel most comfortable with and who's knowledge you can trust.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what motivates you to make the changes in your life. You can always come back to those points to stay committed to your goals easier.
