Mr. Johnson has been teaching privately for 20 years in Texas. He currently maintains a large tuba and Euphonium studio at The Woodlands HS north of Houston. When teaching lessons Mr. Johnson can be found performing as a freelance musician with local orchestras, in solo recitals, or with Space City Brass quintet-a brass quintet which he founded. Prior to his current position, Mr. Johnson was a musician in the United States Navy, performing ceremonial duties and public outreach concerts with a wide variety of musical styles including Dixieland, Classical, Rock, R&B, New Orleans style Brass Band, and more. As the sole-proprietor, I make all the nessesary investments needed for my students so that's there's less pressure on spending money on an excessive amount of materials. Signature sounds private studios is very affordable only costing $75 an hour for one lesson a week. Of course it's up to the clients on how many times they want to meet that fits both the instructors and students schedule.
