What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I evaluate a students skills and build upon what they already know. I believe swimming is about progression whether starting new or improving techniques.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified Water Saftey instructor through Red Cross and Ellis swimming programs. This is my 6th year teaching swim lessons and I have been a competitive swimmer for the past 12 years. Swimming has taken me through club, highschool and college and is a part of who I am.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginner level swimmers all the way to advanced, ranging from 3 years old to 18 years.
