What is your typical process for working with a new student?

1st class is a Trial class. We try and give every student in class attention.  We do not have favorite in class.  It is best to contact us directly through our website.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Ballet major, Dance minor, Adult Fitness and Exercise science with emphasis in Athletic Injuries.  Owner has been teaching for over 20 years, she started teaching when she was a teenager. Teachers all go to conventions at least once a year to keep their technique up and to have fresh ideas in choreography.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?

i started teaching in Colorado at the studio I attended. first i was an assistant for 3 teachers then I got my own classes by the time I was 15.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with very talented students who have gone onto So You think you can dance and she placed top 4th. I have many dancers on Pom teams in College.  I have 3 students as Bronco Cheerleaders now.  I have two dancing in LA. I have also taught kids that struggle and then get their passion to love dance.  I have also taught down syndrome and Autistic children as well.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

One of my studnets who had been struggling in dance during one of our cominations I put on the song OCEANS by Hillsong in the middle of her dancing she broke down and cried I asked her what was wrong and she told me how she had no friends her mom and dad hated her etc. I brought mom in after class to talk to her.. 6 months later she is a different kid with her realtionship with her parents and now she feels loved by so many people.  Every day she tells me thank you for helping me speak through dance.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

That they love children, that they are not just taught in one studio and stay at one studio, that they have many different backgrounds.  That they can communicate to your child the way your child needs to be communicated to. Have a conversation with the owner.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What they really are wanting in their lives.  Is this just for fun, am I wanting to be on dance teams, do i want to go to college for dance, do I want to dance professionally,
