Although I have trained classically for over 16 years and am well versed in reading music and the like, i’ve learned to put far more emphasis on not only reading music, but playing as it was intended. I believe that music lessons should be both fun and challenging. I am not there to crack a whip, I am there to help facilitate learning and and love for music. While I typically stick to a classical approach I like to leave the door open for students to explore other genres of music. Lesson time is just as much the student’s time as it is mine. I encourage challenge without deterring the student from the instrument.

My name is Savannah Parks and I've been a violinist for 8 years and counting. I'm a junior at Southwestern University with a major in Studio Art but music is and will always be a huge passion of mine.
