I enjoy seeing my students grow artistically and expressing themselves through art. I’ve always loved art since a young age and being an artist has allowed me to reach people on different levels.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically our first lesson is a free-style. This allows new students to get comfortable and allows me to gauge what you like and what way to best approach future lessons.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through Little Picasso’s International to work with preschool aged children through middle school; as well as mainting an active membership with Texas Art Education Association.
How did you get started teaching?
I am a partner of a music school and decided to include art to our class line up.
What types of students have you worked with?
My first year we had 18 students ranging in age from 2-10; in addition I taught private art instruction for 2 adults. A couple of my students had special needs or learning disabilities.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Summer camp! We had 20 students create a mural using found materials. I was a really neat project!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Meet with your potential teacher prior to beginning lessons.
