About
I offer through my academy authentic Traditional Japanese Karate Do classes for all ages from 4 years old. The curriculum is endorsed by the World Karate Do Shitoryu Federation, based in Japan, and our diploma is valid worldwide. Our program aims to contribute to physical and mental development, under the highest principles of Shitoryu karate that will provide the practitioner with tools that will be useful in all areas of their lives. I also have a sports karate program whose objective is to train athletes in this specialty and compete in Regionals, Nationals and Internationals at all levels around de World. Karate has recently been accepted as an Olympic sport, so the goal of our students could be the Olympic Games! Finally, I run the KARATE ON SITE preschool program, a program we take directly to schools and focuses on developing primary motor and mental skills.
Karate is for me both a way of life and a family tradition, so teaching Karate awakens in me a great passion and interest. I trained with my father under the tutelage of a great Master such as the Kyoshi Shoko Sato (Pan-American Head of the Shitoryu-style Karate Organization), and I am a member of one of the great Karate organizations in the World based in Japan as It is the World Shitoryu, I was also an athlete with an international background and finally I have trained and continue to work on training athletes in this discipline.
I am a certified trainer by the World Karate Federation (the only entity that governs World Karate and recognized by the International Olympic Committee).
