Julie Strauser Voice Studio
About
I believe that the majority of vocal styles can be taught with the same healthy, underlying vocal technique. I concentrate on freeing any tension that is blocking the student's voice, teaching them how to feel where the voice focuses in their body, and supporting all of this with a low, relaxed, sustained breath.
I find that making sure students sing in a comfortable environment is extremely important - after all, our voices are a part of us. I make sure that lessons are fun and held in an environment of support and positivity.
While studying with me students can feel assured that they truly have a teacher who has their best interest at heart. My goal is that my students can sing until they are 80 due to their healthy technique! In my lessons I help singers improve their technique, musicianship, and performing skills and adapt lessons to each individual's musical goals.
I love helping people find their true, unique voice. Nothing excites me more than when a student makes a correction and suddenly singing is a whole lot easier!

I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from beginner to professional. I have taught students ages 5-65! I make sure to tailor my lessons to each students' goals and pick songs that are age-appropriate.
