About
Students will have a curriculum based on what their goals are and their current level. Since I specialize in teaching beginners, most lesson plans will consist of basic fundamentals, such as breathing technique, effective warmups, projection, pitch accuracy/control, and vocal confidence (which is equally as important as all of the other skills!). My goal is to either help you brush up on the basics, or teach them to you for the first time. Knowing basics and getting comfortable singing in front of others can work so many wonders on your singing journey, and I hope to help you with all of those things. I know it can be hard to find a place to start and I will help you throughout the process.
I am currently pursuing a Bachelors in Business and music. I have spent the past five years honing my singing skills and educating myself on music and different facets of art, and I would love to share those things with you! I am familiar with and can help you grow in R&B, Pop, Alternative Rock, Hip Hop and Country.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process for working with a new student involves learning about their goals and creating a system that helps them achieve what they want to work towards. I will show them proper ways to practice and various warm-ups and cooldown excercises that prevent injury. Every lesson will revolve around what the student wants to accomplish, and me guiding them through the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying music for the past 5 years. I really enjoy music and I know it is my calling in life.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My lessons will be priced at $25 per 30 minute increments and $50 for an hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I wanted to share what I know with others, and I wanted to have a job that gave back to music lovers such as myself.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with people mostly in their 20s, but I can teach all ages. I specialize in teaching beginners, or people looking to brush on their foundational skills, which is valiable for anybody at any age!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My most recent student was having a difficult time singing a particular song, and he was dealing with a lot of throat tension that was preventing him from singing properly. I then started to do various excercises with him that included changing his body position, breathing technique, and sound placement and he immediately started singing better. It was very fulfiling and exciting for me and for him as well.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who really cares about your interests. In my experience, just because someone might meet all the physical credentials, that doesn't mean they are a good teacher. That being said, finding someone who knows what their talking about is equally as important. Find someone who will help you build your skills AND your confidence, because your confidence plays a huge role in your development as a singer.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1.) What are my goals/ultimate goal as a singer?
2.) What type of style interests me the most? Which one do I want to learn/specialize in?
3.) What am I looking to gain from taking singing lessons?
