I have been coaching swimmers and triathletes since 2005 through my own private business. I have two specialties. Swim/Tri team kids and adults looking to improve their strokes to achieve faster times. I also specialize in the beginner adult athlete and have had great success with taking those that cannot swim, or do not swim very well, and making them into fit swimmers, even Ironman finishers. My coaching style is very psychological, physiological, and physics based. I have coached a high school swim team since 2009 and have had multiple state podium athletes, one state champion, and multiple regional podium finishes from my team (as well as home school clients). Several of my youth and adult triathletes win or podium their age groups. In age group swimming, I have had athletes podium regionally, become North Texas Short Course Champion (overall), as well as compete nationally. Most of all, I help age-group swimmers reach their motivational time cut-offs to move up levels over and over again. I am a certified USA Triathlon Coach and am obtaining my Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology with a Psychology minor.

(Proverbs 27:17) One of the best things about being a coach is not just the reward of seeing my athletes cross the finish line for the first time or the hundredth time, but about seeing each one grow in every journey they take to get to that finish line. I am a firm believer that anyone can succeed at a goal on their own if they put their mind to it, but it is a lot easier and you grow even more when you have someone help you get there.

First step is to contact me by email and include what type of student you are, what your goal is, if you are willing to travel to The Colony, Frisco, Plano, Texas area, and your availability for a session. Each session lasts 30 minutes. I am a firm believer that too much can just create chaos in the head, so we will typically go over 3-5 things in a session. Each session starts with a brief assessment of where the client currently is, we review anything we may have gone over in conversation or previous sessions, and then work through step by step from there.
