The lessons I teach each student are extremely personalized and organized. I am consistently updating my lesson plans after each lesson to provide the most personalized lessons possible. Getting feedback from the student is also important to me to see what I can improve to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible. I am working for you.
With my background in technique/theory paired with my experience performing live I will teach you not only fundamentals but how to apply those to be able to pick up a guitar and play with anyone, or play a solo... I teach both acoustic and electric and am able to teach various different styles such as rock, folk, acoustic, worship, Rock, RnB, gospel, country, blues pop, funk, finger style, punk rock, reggae, and metal.
I enjoy working with a variety of different types of people and in the past have specialized in working with youth ages 10-20. I love meeting parents and keeping them informed about their child's progress. I am passionate about helping students gain confidence in their music playing and helping music to become something that they enjoy even more.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process is simple. Getting to the know the student and making them comfortable is my first step. Then, I will personally write up a lesson plan for the student tailored to their specific goals/preferences/skill level and adjust as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 4 years of experience in teaching guitar, piano, and bass. I have held a long term position at three different music schools across the metroplex over the years and have experience working with all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. I also have taken advanced level guitar lessons for 10 years and still recieve lessons to this day. I am always polishing my skills and learning new techniques. Aside from that, my degree in business communications gives me an exceptional level of organization and communication between myself and clients.
