Bridget Cappel Voice Studio

The voice teacher you have been searching for! Bridget is a professional opera singer and voice technician with a background in classical, choral, musical theater, and pop style singing. She is a warm, nurturing, and enthusiastic teacher who tailors each lesson to the specific needs and goals of her students. Her students have gone on to pursue singing in college and professionally, get lead roles in community and high school musicals, and have gone from singing alone in the car to performing in front of an audience for the first time. Bridget grew up in marching band, singing in choirs, performing in musicals, and playing piano. She has a Master's Degree in Opera and Voice Performance from Boston University, a Performance Diploma in Opera from Texas Christian University, and a Bachelor's in Voice Performance/ Film from Western Michigan University. Bridget is a recent Metropolitan Opera National Council District Winner and winner of the John Alexander National Vocal Competition. She has performed on the stages of Fort Worth Opera, Kentucky Opera, Opera Mississippi, Charlottesville Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, and more. She recently taught a masterclass with the students at the University of Southern Indiana working on technique and style in both classical and musical theater repertoire. Bridget also has experience singing in the rock/opera band The Tapestry singing Pink Floyd to Puccini.
