What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically give a quick overview if the format of the class. I also offer do's and don'ts; modifications of some movements. I also like to know the student's fitness goals and any past injuries.

I can do per visit or punch cards good for a month.
How did you get started teaching?
I was overweight after college so I decided to join the gym to attens aerobics. The instructor took a liking to me and encouraged me to attend worshops to become certified aerobic and step teacher. Fast forward 15 years later, I took on Zumba and the rest is history.
What types of students have you worked with?
My students range from young teens to seniors. When I teach my class, I teach to all fitness levels hence modifications are offered to ensure evryone can get their workout.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I volunteered to teach Zumba at a church fundraising event. All benfits went to help the Philippines after the typhoon Hyan which was the strongest typhoon to ever hit land.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that the teacher they hire teaches effective and safe workouts. Ensure they have a nationally recognized certification for Group Exercise via ACE or AFAA.
