What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Be sure to check out their qualifications and how far up the tennis playing level have they played. Did they play the professional tour, didn't d they play college or only high school. If you're looking for a children's teacher, what ages have they taught and for how long. Do they enjoy teaching children

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

I assess all strengths and weaknesses. I interview the player to find out their goals. I ask them what is their commitment to working together.
