Amir is an excellent coach and a friend! I have started training with him about 3 mons ago. I started with no experience at all, and he was very patient, worked hard with me on building good tennis habits and fundamentals. He is passionate, easy going and he keeps his instructions direct and simple. At first I was just looking for a good tennis coach, but Amir is way more than a good coach, he is really professional and encouraging. He can be very strict, but that's also something that I am looking for in a tennis instructor; it really shows that he really want you to learn tennis in the right way, and that he cares about you and the sports. I really didn't expect to make friends with my tennis coach, but here we are XD, Thank you for being an awesome coach and a friend!

I started my classes with Coach Amir after having spent several years without playing tennis. I had lost my touch, my footwork was rusty and overall I had regressed. Within one lesson, Amir taught me a completely new forehand grip, which elevated my game immensely; next, he taught me match strategy that made me start winning many more points; after that, he completely reworked my serve. The list goes on, but you get the idea. I've been working on my game with him for only a few months and I am a completely different player from when I started. Amir is an incredibly patient instructor that will give you almost immediate results. His teaching method is very interactive and helps you stay engaged in the lesson. Perhaps most importantly, he lets you take the lead in what you want to work on and how you want to do it (he won't make you run around cones if you don't want to). While his schedule is definitely busy, he has worked with me to make sure I got in his schedule. Overall I'm really enjoying Amir's lessons, and I can't recommend him enough.

I’m a beginner and I’ve been wanting to learn tennis the right way. Coach Amir is a very experienced coach who will walk you through the fundamentals with the goal of making those skills muscle memory and second nature for someone playing tennis. I appreciate his patience and how he seems to know right where we left off despite having a ton of clients! I’m excited to see how I’m improving quickly with Amir’s coaching. The time is always used efficiently. If there’s 5 minutes left in a session, you can bet they’ll be used effectively. I’m looking forward to many more lessons!

I was extremely glad we met Coach Amir. He is very detailed in his technique and he instantly knew all the faults my kid has in just one class. We have been going to him ever since. I highly recommend him. - Hari

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Each lesson is custom to my client!

1) listen to the client and their needs

2) create a custom plan to solve the needs of my client

3) provide detailed tennis lessons and see the improvement immediately

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I currently play on the GLTA tour and won the world championships. I am one of the few, if not, the only self taught professional tennis player in the world. Teaching myself how to play correctly has mastered my teaching skills and now I am ready to share to my clients.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?

I starting playing tennis at the age of 3 and fell in love with the sport ever since.  My father who was number 1 in Iran, got me started.

Now I am the only self taught professional tennis player that ever reaches a 6.5 rating! For the sake of comparison, 7 is professional on TV.

What types of students have you worked with?

I work with all ages and levels.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

RuiRui, one of Coach Amir’s students, is ranked #1 in the United States among all the 8 year olds nationally!

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Cheaper coaches, you end up paying more in the long run. Go with a quality coach and don’t shy away from a higher hourly rate. Watch this video made for you.
