I was the Director of Junior Tennis at the Houston City for 18 years. I have extensive experience teaching group and private lessons for players of all levels. I have played college tennis in Florida on a full scholarship and played some professional tournaments. I have been coaching full time since 1989.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
An evaluation is done to find out the level and skill of the student. From there I find out what is the goal of the student and draw a plan in order to reach his/her goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a certified tennis pro since 1989. I have a degree in Kinesiology - Sports Admnistration.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Private lessons are $80 per hour. Group lessons are based upon the number of students ranging from $45 to $25 per hour.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching as a teen ager in Brazil and it became my passion.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all levels and ages 4 and up.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
my most recent event I'm fond of is when I took my 10 and under green ball team to Abeline, TX and we won the state tournament.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure the instructor has the right qualifications and experience in teaching the great game of tennis.
