I have been teaching swim lessons for about 6 years now. I was a competitive swimmer who loved being in the water more than on land. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn basic swimming and water saftey skills because you can carry those learned tools throughout your entire life.
I haved worked as a swim lesson istructor at: Catawba Valley Aquatics Club, YMCA, and Camp Caswell in North Carolina.
I currently live in Irving, Texas and recently purchased a house with a swimming pool. I am willing to travel to you and your pool, but you also have the luxury to use my facilities at my home.
I love being around people and helping them in areas that need improvement. Teaching them something new they did not know before and seeing the progression is something that makes what I do enjoyable.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Message me and we will set up a time to start lessons.
Currently taking students: Monday - Friday at 7am til 8:30pm; Saturday Mornings from 8:45am-9:30; 10:45am-11:45am.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I can also provide adults with custom swim plugs if needed. (Ask for more details if interested). Also, I can provide swimmers with proper nutrition for endurance and recovery during their workouts.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started teaching through the aquatics club that I was apart of in North Carolina. Later I taught at a local YMCA and in college taught swim lessons at a summer youth camp called Camp Caswell in Oak Island, NC.
